Kathryne: named for my bestie but turned into my closet bestie
Sometimes you see people in the things around you. For me, it was my best friend Evlyn. When we were 18, I was talking about how one day, I was going to have my own store and I was going to name a piece after her. Originally, that was going to be a pencil skirt, but hi, it's 2018 and praises that styles have changed. Evlyn is someone that loves fashion, but is often afraid to take risks or branch out with her closet. I think that the vast majority of people feel this way. We see what people around town are wearing and immediately think "OH EM GEE. I love that, but I could never wear that because my ankles...insert sad face here..." (Don't lie you do it. I heard someone say it today at lunch). I'm going to tell you a secret. You're hot. No one is looking at your ankles, even if you haven't shaved them in 3 weeks. You're the only one that knows that. If you like what someone is wearing, then wear it yourself! I promise you're going to look 10 times better in it than that random girl you saw at Rosa's.
But like...my arms.
If you had a security blanket when you were 3, let this duster be the one you have now. You can throw this on over any lightweight top you have and you're set for life. Our Sub_Urban Riot muscle tees are my prime example of this. Think back to Rosa's girl. You loved what she had on, but you feel like there's an element of her look that you aren’t 100% with. You know that feeling when you're cooking and you say "This needs a little something else, but I can't quite put my finger on what that is.." Often time, that is salt or garlic powder, but in your current closet, its this duster. When I feel like my outfit needs a little something extra, I have learned to grab this first and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. it works better than I thought it would. There's a reason this is my new go-to. It works with everything for every occasion. I took my a couple of my favorite outfits that are super cute by themselves and added the Kathryne duster on top. Do you see what I'm saying now? They instantly feel "fall" and have that sense of "je ne sais quoi." Regardless of occasion, this can work!

Oxford + Duster
One of the most classic looks of life is a tapered trouser paired with a white oxford with a knit sweater layered on top. This is so streamlined, classic, and flattering. Everyone loves it and had worn it before. You're here because you like to be different, and girl, we love you for that. So let's remix this. The navy blue cashmere sweater and white oxford become a white tee and Kathryne duster. "Ummm...didn’t you show me that literally 3 inches above this sentence..?" Nope! well, kinda. We're reversing it. The duster is going underneath the white tee. I know I'm crazy. TRUST.

Very rarely do I talk about a night-on-the-town look..if that gives you some insight into my life lol. But like I've got you covered here. Every girl needs a reason to wear some leather pants...and a crop top. Im'ma say it again "you're welcome!" This look screams your confidence and I can guarantee that at least 3 guys will chat you up.. again you're welcome.
No. Words. Like I literally have no further explanation. There's an air of sophistication that this look inspires. But girl, if you aren't 100% on crop tops, wear a camisole instead! Keep this look as simple as possible, with a dainty gold necklace right at your neckline, or no necklace and some delicate gold hoops. Grab your clutch and you're free to rock someone's world or have your own Spice World party. Your choice.
