Curly Hem Tee. Welcome to 1996.

I will always and will always love the 90's. I was born in 1993, and honestly am sad everyday that I didn't get to live more of my life in this gold mine of a decade. So now that I'm almost 25, I'm recreating the era in every way I can.
All you need is denim.
This top. I have worn it with skinny jeans, shorts, wide leg jeans, skirt, and a denim jacket. The color gray, the cut, and truly the curly hem are universal with denim. Amazing. Incredible. Life-giving. This top isn't "cropped" but it definitely not long like our graphic tees. The hemline is right at your hips and flares out at your hips emphasizing your natural hourglass shape and giving you one if you don't think you have one.
I know this is cheating, but I'm only going to tell you how to wear this with jeans. You can wear it different ways with both styles
Skinny Jeans My favorite way to wear this is with skinny jeans. I feel so feminine and curvy, but not in your face (for my body at least). I have broad shoulders, pretty large chest, small waist, and wide hips. But this look makes me feel like I'm proportioned in the ways that I'd like to be. I'm going to let you take one guess my my shoe of choice is. You guessed it babe, Converse. I'm not even sorry for it. When I want to wear this more formally, I wear my favorite dressy booties. I wear simple earrings and no necklace, and the only wrist anything I wear is my watch. There you go. That's my go-to and I wear it, probably more than I should.
Wide Leg Jeans
I live for this look. And you're welcome, I'm not prescribing Converse here. No nothing is wrong with me. I promise. There's something about a good wide leg and sandals that has made my heart happy for the last 10 years. I do a full tuck with these jeans. I also change up my jewelry game. I wear a tattoo choker and a long statement necklace. This is strictly because the only part of the outfit that has any "curl" to it are the sleeves. When I have the sleeves and the waistline, adding a necklace is too much. I still only wear my watch and maybe a light bangle with it, because I'd rather my necklace make the statement.
Shorts
What is it about fall that makes me love shorts? I wear denim shorts...and shorts in general...more in the fall than I do any other season. Same with long sleeves, I wear more long sleeves during the summer than I do in the winter. I digress. I told you earlier that nothing was wrong with me, and here I am to prove it to you. Converse. Dang. Converse and the curly hem are my favorite juxtaposition at the mome (short for moment). Converse are seen by most people as being hard, tough, and the opposite of feminine. That's what I love so much about this pairing. The top is everything that feminine stands for mixed with Converse. LOVE. Leave the top untucked completely and rock the no jewelry, like not even a watch. I know you need to know how many steps you got in or if the hot guy from earlier has texted you back...but know that he has, and you're good to go. Your confidence alone will make you walk further today than yesterday.
I'm not even going to apologize for cheating my way through this entire blog. I love being able to be creative for you, but sometimes, I need to be real and share exactly how I actually wear things instead of out of the box ways of how I could wear things. Don't hate me!
